This discussion meeting aims to bring together a few mathematicians working in the field of Homogenization to discuss the quantitative theory of homogenization for elliptic and parabolic problems in periodic setting.
Homogenization, loosely speaking, is the study of differential equations with rapidly oscillatory coefficients. In this meeting, we shall pay attention to coefficients being periodic. Emphasis will be on showcasing a collection of results (both old and new) dealing with convergence rates and uniform (with respect to a small parameter) regularity estimates.
This discussion meeting will be in hybrid mode. The list of out-station in-person participants for this meeting has been finalised. But, if anyone wishes to join the discussion meeting online, please contact one of the organizers for further information.
Here is the list of confirmed speakers:
1. S. Aiyappan (IIT Hyderabad)
2. Chandan Biswas (IIT Bombay)
3. Tuhin Ghosh (HRI Prayagraj)
4. Harsha Hutridurga (IIT Bombay)
