Simran graduated in 2018 from IISER Mohali with a BS-MS majoring in mathematics. After a year of work as a data scientist in a company, she joined a PhD at the Applied Algebra Group at University of Zurich. Her research is on the role of algebraic structures like groups in the design of cryptographic systems. Since 2021, she is also a doctoral fellow at the Cyber-Defence Campus of the armasuisse, Switzerland. Her hobbies include sports and books, particularly popular science and classic fiction. D Jeiyendira Pradeep is an alumnus of BSMS 2010 batch of IISER Mohali. He majored in chemistry after completing his thesis work from the Innovators lab of Dr Samrat Ghosh. He was one of the founding members of Curie Club at IISER Mohali. After his studies, he briefly worked on SSNMR analysis of nanomaterials at TIFR Mumbai. Currently he is working with Conservation Laboratory of National Museum New Delhi as an Assistant Chemist, where he is examining the antiquities of organic division.

Ginny is working as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany. Her research work involves spectroscopic characterization of highly reactive intermediates using matrix isolation technique. She is also passionate about science education and communication. Running, hiking, doodling and cooking are her companions of free time.

She works in the field of allied medicine and her research mainly revolves around developing imaging tools to detect abnormal brain regions in patients with epilepsy. After pursuing MS from IISER M, Mehreen completed her PhD from IISc in Ecological Sciences. She co-founded a Kashmir based NGO Wildlife Research and Conservation Foundation and which she currently runs.

Srishti joined the third batch of IISER Mohali and graduated with dual BS-MS degree in 2014, post which she did her PhD at NCBS-TIFR, Bangalore specializing in neurobiology of olfaction. Later she transitioned into entrepreneurship and founded Qzense Labs in 2019 with the aim of transforming the fresh food supply chain. During her years at IISER, she has witnessed the transition from MGSIPA Campus to the beautiful 125 acres in Mohali. IISER is the special place where Srishti found her family and zeal to build from scratch.
