What is Model United Nations?
Model United Nations (or MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to enlighten and encourage the participants to discuss and brainstorm solutions to major issues concerning the world.

How can participating in MUN help me?
Participating in MUN helps delegates in all-round professional development. It enriches one’s research, public speaking, and writing abilities. It is a great way to boost your confidence and serves as a platform for building meaningful connections.

Do I need prior experience to register?
No prior experience is necessary for participation. Whether you are a seasoned delegate or someone looking to explore the realm of diplomacy, IISERB MUN 2024 is the right opportunity for you. We also encourage you to go through the study guides and blogs for a better understanding of the proceedings.

What are the accommodation arrangements for external delegates?
No accommodation will be provided

What is the dress code for the conference?
Formals for both the days

What awards will be provided at IISERB MUN 2024?
The Best Delegate Award and one High Commendation will be awarded to the best-performing delegates from each committee. The Best Reporter from the International Press will also be awarded.

How will the committees be assigned to delegates?
Preference will be given to experienced delegates, else randomly
