Call for Proposals
If you are a language teacher professional, student, or researcher, you are invited to submit your proposal for the fourht edition of the IILTA CONGRESS: Innovative and Intercultural Languages Teaching Approaches.
1. Session types:
Research Presentation
An unpublished paper is a theoretical, practical, or methodological presentation on a specific topic related to language teaching. It may include classroom experiences, pedagogical reflections, critical reviews, among other approaches.
Time: 20 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes for audience questions.
Ongoing Research
Presentation of preliminary or partial results of ongoing research related to language teaching or learning. It may include the theoretical framework, research questions, methodology, initial findings, and tentative discussions.
Time: 30 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes for feedback.
Workshop
A practical and participatory activity aimed at developing skills or strategies related to language teaching. The workshop must actively involve the audience through exercises, demonstrations, use of technologies, collaborative dynamics, or other applicable resources. The written document must provide the workshop’s context, theoretical foundation, and description of its implementation.
Time: 45 minutes for the activity and 15 minutes for audience questions.
2. The Congress will feature the following strands:
- Innovative pedagogical approaches
- Technology and language teaching
- Artificial Intelligence in the teaching of foreign and ancestral languages-Teacher training
- Interdisciplinarity and diversity
- Assessment and feedback
- Innovative resources and materials
