Dr. D. Nirmal is a Professor specializing in VLSI Design, with a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University. His research spans Nanoelectronics, GaN Technology, Device & Circuit Simulation, Sensors, HEMT, Beyond 5G, and Nanoscale device modeling. He is the founding chair of IEEE EDS Coimbatore Chapter, with funded projects worth ₹1.2 crore from agencies including DRDO, ISRO, MeitY, and AICTE. A recipient of awards such as the IEI Young Engineer Award, IETE Smt. Manorama Rathore Memorial Award (2022), and Young Scientist Award (2019), he has authored 150+ peer-reviewed publications and holds three patents. A Senior IEEE Member, he has delivered numerous keynotes and lectures at national and international forums.

Prof. Nazek El-Atab leads the Smart, Advanced Memory devices and Applications (SAMA) Lab at KAUST. Her research focuses on smart multifunctional devices, flexible electronics, and in-memory sensing and computing. She has authored over 100 publications, holds 10 U.S. patents, and has received several prestigious awards, including the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Fellowship and MIT Technology Review’s Innovators Under 35.

Prof. Durga Misra is a distinguished researcher in nanoelectronics and low-power device technologies, with a strong focus on the societal impact of FETs, IoT applications, and sustainable electronics. He is widely recognized for his ability to connect semiconductor advancements to practical and humanitarian applications. His lectures will cover “Nanoelectronics to Nanotechnology: More Moore and More than Moore” and “Self-Heating in FinFETs and Its Impact on Logic Circuits.”

Prof. Manoj Saxena is a Senior Member of IEEE and currently serves as Secretary of the IEEE EDS Delhi Chapter. He has authored over 200 technical papers and his research spans analytical modeling, design, and simulation of advanced MOSFET architectures, Tunnel FETs, and novel device concepts. He is also a reviewer for leading journals including Solid-State Electronics and IEEE TED/EDL. He has received the IEEE EDS Outstanding Volunteer Award for his contributions to the community.

Dr. Navakanta Bhat has been a faculty at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore since 1999, where he is currently a Professor in the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering. He has made significant contributions in the areas of Nanoelectronics and Sensors technology. He was instrumental in creating the National Nanofabrication Center at IISc Bangalore, which has been benchmarked against the best university facilities in the world.

Prof. Anil Kottantharayil received the Dr.Ing. degree (summa cum laude) from the Universitat der Bundeswehr, Munich, Germany, in 2002. From 2001 to 2006, he was with the Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre, Leuven, Belgium, where he worked on FinFETs, metal gate, and high-κ integration in logic technologies. Since 2006, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, where he is currently a Professor.
