The Amduat is an interactive, immersive experience inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology and its beliefs surrounding life, death, and rebirth. Through a multisensory environment and a symbolic narrative, the experience invites participants to journey through the mythological passage of the soul in the afterlife. By engaging space, light, and sound, it offers visitors a unique and emotionally resonant encounter with one of the most enduring cosmological stories of ancient Egypt.

The experience unfolds across four phases. It begins with the descent into the underworld, believed to occur as night overshadowed the land. In ancient belief, the departed soul embarked on a sacred journey aboard a divine vessel, traveling through darkness toward immortality.

The second phase takes place in the Duat, the mysterious realm of the underworld. Here, the soul encounters a sequence of gates, doors, and pylons guarded by minor deities who regulate passage through this hidden world.

In the third phase, the traveler arrives at the Hall of Ma’at, the place where judgment is passed on the deeds of one’s life. Here, the soul’s heart is weighed against the feather of truth to determine its worthiness to continue.

Finally, after judgment, the journey leads to rebirth and renewal. In this stage, the soul returns to the cosmic source, symbolizing regeneration and the reunification of the spirit with its restored body.
