University of A Coruña’s Research Observatory CSSAN (Cultural Studies, Society, and Alternative Narratives) and the Amergin Institute of Irish Studies present the third edition of the Conference on Technocultures in collaboration with Intergames: Incorporating Interdisciplinarity in Secondary School Education Using Conflict Video Games and Region and Nation Literature Association (RNLA) . This time it will take place on 9-10 April 2026.

As a consequence of the recent rise of transmedia horror, this event will focus on both the relevance and impact of the genre and its diverse representations on humanity’s lifeline. Thus, we enter gothic’s new era embellished by cyberculture’s spiderweb, which motivates the reinterpretation of classics and the creation of new ones.
