A Competition for High School Students, by High School Students
Quarantine Science Tournament is back and better than ever with our SECOND tournament, happening over Discord on the weekend of July 31st to August 2nd!
Even with the chaos caused by COVID-19, the effort put in by students, often in conjunction with extremely difficult classes, should not go to waste. Therefore, we decided to host our own, multidisciplinary science competition open to everyone! Our aim is to bring all the fun and challenge of a regular competition straight to your home!

Events
We will be covering a variety of topics from a variety of disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth and Space Science, and Computer Science. Not to worry, you can choose what to compete in, and we will provide teammates that cover events you cannot! You will get more detailed information about the events upon registration.
For fun, we will even have optional sub-competitions, covering the increasingly complex sciences of Pokemon and Minecraft, to name a few. People compete in these just for the clout :)
Schedule
We are hosting this tournament from July 31st to August 2nd, in the afternoons and evenings. A full schedule for QST is available here. To be able to compete, try to be free for at least some of the following times:
All times are in EST
Friday, July 31st: 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Saturday, August 1st: 1:00 - 9:00 PM
Sunday, August 2nd: 1:00 - 6:00 PM
Competitions
We know everyone is used to different styles of competitions, so to keep this fair, we will have a variety! This includes short yet fast-paced written exams, Quiz Bowl-type buzzer rounds, and even more unique types, such as "Battle Tower" and "Relay Race".
