I am an Assistant Professor in Multidisciplinary Artificial Intelligence at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where I teach and conduct research at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, data science, sustainability, and public health. I am also a member of FARI – AI for the Common Good Institute, a joint initiative of ULB and Vrije Universiteit Brussel dedicated to developing AI that is responsible, inclusive, and beneficial to society.
My research explores how AI and data-driven technologies can be used to better understand and improve our living environments, with a particular focus on air quality, urban pollution, respiratory health, and sustainable digital infrastructures.
Beyond research and teaching, I care deeply about the human side of academia. I enjoy mentoring students, working across disciplines and cultures, and creating spaces where curiosity is encouraged and questions are always welcome. I believe meaningful research starts with listening ... to data, to people, and to the world around us !
