The "IHM Heritage Week" PowerPoint found immediately below is intended for younger students.

• This may be presented in (4) 10-minute lessons or in a 40-minute class period.
• The attached "IHM Heritage Week ppt Script" file was created to go along with the "IHM Heritage Week" ppt file.
• If presenting to students in grades K-2, you may wish to use the Founders' Day booklet while showing the PowerPoint. The booklet can be found on the "Classroom Activity Booklet" page of this website.

Directions for Using the PowerPoint Presentation:

• Click on the black square at the top right side of the PowerPoint image below.
  • This will give you the "preview" version of the presentation.
  • Some of the images and text may be distorted in the "preview."
  • You must download and save to be able to show the presentation as intended.
• With the preview open, now look at the top right of your screen for a downward arrow. Click on the arrow.
  • This will allow you to download and save the PowerPoint.
• After downloading and saving, you can edit the PowerPoint as you wish to add your own pictures and text if desired.
• Now you are able to show the Presentation in its intended format.
• Follow the same directions for downloading and saving the "IHM Heritage Week Script" file.

IHM Founders' Day PowerPoint Presentation

The "IHM Founders' Day" PowerPoint found immediately below features beautiful illustrations from the newly published book, "An Amazing Adventure," written by Sister Patricia Dailey.

• This ppt may be presented while reading from the book or parts of the book, "An Amazing Adventure."
  • All convents and schools have received a copy (or two!) of the book.
  • If you would like another copy of "An Amazing Adventure," additional books are still available. Books may be purchased for a $20 donation by contacting S. Stephen Anne and may be picked up at VMHS Portress Office.
• You may also use the PowerPoint without the book, using your own knowledge of our IHM Community History.
