👤AS A DEVELOPER
I am passionate about games, and I became a programmer to give life to my ideas.
But I'm not just restricted to programming and game design. I study the different areas of game development because I believe it is important to know how to communicate with each part of the project, so is possible to easily understand the needs of the team and how I can help. And on my solo projects, I am able to execute myself.
I learn with articles, books, talks, GDCs, tutorials, etc., trying to understand how things work, replicating if possible, and exploring new ways of creating. Despite Unity's being the main tool I use to create, it's just a tool, I learn how to do games, so any software will fit.
Documenting is something I like to do, and I know how useful it is to keep as a reference. I try to present ideas in an easy-to-understand way (nobody likes to read a 200-page GDD, but of course doing it is important). I prefer to create short documents with example videos or gifs, or one-page designs.
