More than 100 projects of various game prototypes with focusing on 2D&3D game design, level/ environment design, character design, graphic design, programming, music
Godot Game Engine
Most recent project that I am developing for some time. This project is in the final phase of the development.
Nitro Raccoon is an upcoming 2D fast-paced endless flying game under development, compatible with Android devices. The game is my solo project, made with lots of passion. ☢️🦝
So, you'll be maneuvering a radioactive raccoon through deep space while continuously destroying incoming waves of different asteroids and extraterrestrial entities, equipped with a rocket jetpack and a spectrum of various weapons & power-ups that you can buy inside the shop. (No damn pay-to-win - you earn the gems as you play).
There is a flamming spikeball, electric beams, nuke rocket, laser gun, triple gun, double gun 'n' more 🚀
The goal is to survive as long as you can with the highest score while every run is a completely differently generated experience. Also, there are random boss encounters, so be prepared to get beamed!
Currently, the game is under QA testing, optimization and debugging phases. Some major and minor changes are being added to the game during a daily follow-up of the tasks.
The journey of creating Nitro raccoon was very inspiring and joyful to me, as I have learned so much throughout the process about the whole cycle of developing one game.
Game Maker Engine
2D platformer project back from 2014. which was developed during 2014. For this project, I was writing devlogs, and I've released updated and downloadable demoes. This game included a little alien sent to planet Earth to save his planet Solix - main mechanics consisted of plasma gun, sword which can swing around, energy charge, destructive terrain and wall-jumping. At the end of the level, the player is informed with the level stats and would receive the level completion grade.
Blender Game Engine
Tower defense game concept - a project with a simple tower defense system alongside working enemies spawn and placable turrets. This project was mostly based on a overall visuals consisting of a low-poly vivid style resembling an old-school PS2 era style which would years later appear as a massive indie games trend in terms of visual style. The game was firstly intended to be ported to Android systems, but the limitations of the Blender game engine made this idea abandoned.
Blender Game Engine
A tiny and interesting 3D platformer with complete environment and mechanics made in 3D, There is HUD after you collect different carrots or special eggs for pursuing to the next world, two different levels, lava pits, platform jumping, checkpoints, run & jump and action animations. I loved developing this project, because I adore PS1-era platformers.
Game Maker Engine & Blender
Point and click horror game, developed between 2013 and 2014. on and off after high school classes. This game featured realistic pre-rendered backgrounds, puzzles and a fully-written storyline. The game is made in Game Maker Studio. Main workflow of the game: My approach was to use Blender to model and texture all 3D objects and environment, then I would place cameras and render different angles of the room with the lighting previously set, then I would correct everything in Photoshop, add some additional objects if necessary. The exported images from Photoshop are then being added in GM as backgrounds and the game logic is then being programmed - the way you are going from one part of the room to another, all the conditions, variables, effects. This project was not completed, but the story was completely written, and scenario with original files are still stored on a cloud. I've also wrote the piece of music for this game.
Blender Game Engine
In this game, you are a postman delivering a letter into a empty house, which is not that empty after all...
This was a little jump scare based game, all of the 3D models and game logic is done within Blender Game Engine, the game featured a creepy atmosphere (every horror game developer says that), along with spooky sound effects.
This game was developed few years after Slender man and Ender man first appearance, so the main monster following you in this game features a similar design, but it was Sandman, a tall black figure with red eyes lurking in the house.
The main feature of the game was collecting the flashlight batteries to survive against the dark, as you explore the house. Also, my approach this time was making textures and models simple yet effective, so I can have more time focusing on the other segments of the development of this game.
Godot Game Engine
Using Blender for models along with Godot, I've managed to create a early 2000's style of game with low poly models, old school mechanics with weapons switching, crawling through vent systems etc. This was a skilled obtaining project preferably for learning programming with GDScript (Phython-like).
