Need Help?
Every amazing recital is powered by an incredible team of volunteers. While our dancers shine under the lights, there is an entire crew of caring adults working behind the scenes to keep the show running smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
Volunteering is one of the most meaningful ways to support not only your own dancer, but every child performing that day. Your time allows our instructors to focus on teaching, our performers to feel confident and prepared, and our audience to enjoy a seamless, professional production.
Whether you're helping a tiny dancer into their costume, guiding performers backstage, or cheering on nervous students before they step into the spotlight, you become an important part of creating lifelong memories.
We truly could not do this without you.

Volunteer Commitment
Recital volunteers commit to one dress rehearsal training and one complete recital performance (Morning OR Evening).
This includes approximately:
Attending dress rehearsal for training. This is usually the Wednesday and/or Thursday before recital
Arriving 1 hour before the performance begins on recital day
Remaining through the entire performance
Assisting with post-show cleanup for approximately 1 hour after the performance concludes
Total Commitment: Approximately 3 hours on rehearsal day, approximately 4½ hours on recital day.
Because every volunteer role is essential, we ask that volunteers remain for the entirety of their assigned shift. Not fulfilling your full volunteer role will result in loss of volunteer benefits.

Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers may be assigned wherever help is most needed. Assignments vary and may include, but are not limited to:
Welcoming and checking students into the dressing area
Helping younger dancers with costume changes
Assisting with hair pieces, shoes, and simple costume adjustments
Escorting performers between dressing rooms and backstage
Making sure dancers are backstage and performance-ready on time
Sitting with students whose families are enjoying the performance from the audience
Helping maintain a calm, organized backstage environment
Assisting with audience or lobby needs
Helping with setup before the show
Assisting with cleanup after the performance
No prior experience is necessary. We will provide instructions, guidance, and training before your shift.

Our Promise
We know that your time is valuable.
When you volunteer, you are giving one of the greatest gifts you can offer our studio—your support, your encouragement, and your willingness to help every dancer have an unforgettable experience.
Many of our youngest performers remember the kind volunteer who helped calm their nerves, fixed a costume, or gave them a high-five before walking on stage. Those moments matter.
Thank you for helping us create a recital experience that is safe, organized, joyful, and truly magical.
We are incredibly grateful to have such an amazing community, and we look forward to welcoming you to our Recital Volunteer Team!
