Welcome to the Summer Camp website

The summer camp is an initiative sponsored by the College of Education at the University of Texas RGV with the intention of promoting STEAM ideas among youths in the Rio Grande Valley.  We strive to promote the development of science, engineering, technology, arts, and mathematics ideas with a series of well-thought-planned activities specially created to inspire and nurture creativity.

Its essential the STEAM-related ideas are developed and acquired in young ages, rather than later at the end of the secondary education, for which we decided to promote this summer camp as a first step toward this goal.
