Our Mission

The mission of the Ignatian Scholars Corps is the shared pursuit of truth for the greater glory of God and for the service of humanity.

The Ignatian Scholars Corps seeks to connect eminent scholars with institutions or associations of higher education around the world for the purpose of providing lectures in the Judaeo-Christian intellectual heritage to augment the regular curriculum in such institutions.

Ignatian Scholars Corps lectures are given by Zoom and are open to anyone at the institution or association in question to attend.

Although the individual members of the Ignatian Scholars Corps and the lecturers invited to participate come from their own various commitments, the Ignatian Scholars Corps is an organization motivated by the intellectual heritage of the Judaeo-Christian tradition and guided by the spiritual and intellectual ideals of the Society of Jesus in seeking the greater glory of God through their service to higher education.

What We Do

The Ignatian Scholars Corps provides lectures from eminent scholars free of charge.

The Ignatian Scholars Corps is dedicated to contributing to the leadership of others in the continuing quest for the understanding of God's creation and for the discovery, dissemination, and integration of the values, knowledge and skills required to transform society in the spirit of the gospel.

In this spirit, the Ignatian Scholars Corps lectures are offered free of charge and the lecturers receive no recompense for their labor.  The lectures are provided via Zoom and carry no academic credit.

The Zoom technology is hosted by the Ignatian Scholars Corps, and no financial burden rests on the participating institutions or associations. It is not required to have a paid subscription to Zoom in order to participate in an Ignatian Scholars Corps lecture series.
