My name is Ignacio Sánchez-Moreno, and I am a philosopher specializing in the philosophy of animal minds and animal ethics. I am currently pursuing my PhD with an FPI [Formación de Personal Investigador] contract at the Department of Logic, History and Philosophy of Science at UNED. I am also a member of the METIS research group and the NORMABioMed research project.

At present, my research focuses on the field of the philosophy of animal communication, which is primarily concerned with analyzing the conceptual, epistemological, and ontological conditions of what we understand as communication in nonhuman animals. More specifically, my main interest lies in interspecies communication between human and nonhuman animals, as well as its ethical and philosophical implications.
