Ignacio Muñoz Jiménez

I am a third-year PhD student at the Università degli Studi di Genova, under the supervision of Stefano Vigni.

From September 2025 to February 2026, I visited Kazım Büyükboduk and his team at University College Dublin.

Previously, in September 2023 I obtained my Master’s degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid under the supervision of Daniel Macías Castillo.

My research interests lie in algebraic number theory and arithmetic geometry. In particular, I study the arithmetic of modular forms and their associated L-functions, with a focus on their behavior in p-adic families.
