I am a philosopher with a strong interest in epistemology, particularly in the intersections between Ludwig Wittgenstein's later philosophy, contemporary analytic epistemology—especially hinge epistemology—and feminist epistemologies. My research also explores themes such as relativism and the interdisciplinary dialogue between philosophy and socio-cultural anthropology.
I earned my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Seville, where I defended my dissertation in July 2025 under the supervision of Professors Carla Carmona and Jesús Navarro. My thesis explores how hinge epistemology can be aligned with feminist epistemologies by developing a performative interpretation of hinges that emphasizes the role of epistemic practices in challenging systemic inequalities. Part of the original proposal from this research has been published with Professor Carla Carmona in Hypatia.
I have worked as a predoctoral researcher at the University of Seville, where I also taught undergraduate courses, including Theory of Knowledge, Current Trends in Philosophy, Methods of Philosophical Thinking, Debates on the Legitimacy of Modernity, and Theories of Dialogue and Interculturality.
Currently, I work independently, focusing on academic publishing while seeking postdoctoral opportunities. I am also a member of two research projects: one on epistemic aims—covering issues such as truth, belief, understanding, and epistemic injustice—and another on meta-attitudes, deep disagreement, and moral progress in contemporary societies.
