Week 3

July 19-23

Week 3 – Africa – Campers who attend week three will experience art, dance, music, and theater through the eyes of African cultures. Drum circles are important part of some cultures using them to communicate and to have fun, campers will work on ensembles and improvise on a variety of instruments. Students will engage in African folk tales in theater, learn how African dance has inspired todays styles, and create an art instillation from Egyptian and Moroccan cultures.
