If you want a robust, weather-resistant mounting solution for your truck cap that secures the entire shell to your bed rails without drilling, choose iFJF Truck Cap Clamps; if you need precise, vibration-proof plugs to seal the rear stake pockets on specific GM trucks and protect the metal underneath from debris, choose kanuoc 2Pcs. These two products solve fundamentally different problems in truck ownership, and picking the wrong one will leave you with either loose gear or an open hole letting water into your bed.
• iFJF Truck Cap Clamps: The biggest strength is its high-strength aluminum construction designed for rapid screw-in installation and secure attachment of camper shells to various pickup models. Its trade-off is that it is a structural component meant for heavy-duty mounting rather than a cosmetic seal, and it comes as a set of four units requiring specific placement. This pick is for anyone installing or reinforcing a truck cap who needs a durable, no-drill fastening system.
• kanuoc 2Pcs: The biggest strength is its specialized, raised silicone design that creates a tight, vibration-resistant seal specifically for 2019–2025 Silverado and Sierra stake pockets, effectively blocking rain and leaves. Its trade-off is extreme model specificity; it will not fit older vehicles (pre-2018) or any non-GM trucks, and the set only includes two covers. This pick is for owners of newer GM pickups who want to stop debris from clogging their rear bed rails and protect the underlying brackets.
The iFJF Truck Cap Clamps are engineered for the driver who treats their truck as a mobile workshop or a hauling platform where security is paramount. These clamps are made from high-quality aluminum, a material choice that prioritizes strength and resistance to corrosion over time. In a garage storage scenario, where you might be loading heavy tools, ladders, or camping gear under a cap, the integrity of the connection between the cap and the truck bed is critical. If the cap shifts while driving, your cargo could slide or get damaged. These clamps are designed to prevent exactly that by offering a high-strength alternative to flimsy factory mounts or temporary solutions.
What makes these clamps stand out is the "no drill" installation method. Many truck owners hesitate to modify their vehicles permanently, fearing damage to the paint or the structural integrity of the bed rails. The iFJF solution allows for a fast screw-in setup that provides a secure hold without requiring permanent alteration to the truck itself. You can achieve effortless installation and, just as importantly, rapid removal if you ever decide to take the cap off. The package includes a set of four clamps, which is the standard configuration needed to anchor a typical truck cap securely at the front and rear corners of the bed.

However, this product is not for everyone. If you do not own a truck cap or camper shell, these clamps have absolutely no function for you. They are not decorative; they are purely mechanical fasteners. Furthermore, because they are designed to fit many truck cap models across Chevy, Ram, and Ford platforms, they rely on the compatibility of the cap's rail system rather than the truck's specific year or trim. If you are looking for a plug to fill a hole, or if you drive a vintage truck without a modern cap system, these will not serve your needs. They are strictly for those who need to mount a structure to their bed rails with confidence.
The kanuoc 2Pcs Bed Rail Stake Pocket Covers address a very specific annoyance common among owners of General Motors trucks: the open holes in the rear bed rails. These are not general-purpose clamps; they are precision-engineered plugs designed exclusively for the 2019–2025 Silverado 1500, Sierra 1500, and the 2500HD/3500HD variants of those models. If you drive one of these trucks, you know that the stake pockets are prone to collecting rainwater, snow, leaves, and road grit. Over time, this accumulation can cause rust or damage the metal brackets underneath. The kanuoc covers are built to shield against these elements, keeping the internal mechanism clean and dry.
The design philosophy here is all about sealing and stability. Unlike simple rubber stoppers that might pop out at highway speeds, these covers feature a raised design around the bottom to ensure a tight fit into the slot. They are further reinforced with tape on three sides and feature thickened edges to withstand road vibration. This ensures that once installed, they stay put even when you are bouncing down a gravel road or driving through a washboard section. The material is premium thick silicone, chosen for its flexibility and durability. This unique pattern design looks good while remaining functional, turning an industrial-looking hole into a seamless part of the truck's aesthetic.
It is crucial to understand the limitations of this product before buying. The compatibility is extremely narrow. These covers are guaranteed not to fit 2018 or older Silverado or Sierra models due to changes in the hole size and shape. If you have an older truck, these will not work, regardless of how much you want them to. Additionally, the package contains only two pieces, meaning you must purchase two sets if you intend to cover both sides of the rear bed rail. This product is ideal for the GM owner who wants a low-maintenance, high-fidelity solution to keep their truck bed free of debris, but it offers no value to owners of other brands or vehicle types.

I would buy the iFJF Truck Cap Clamps if my primary goal was to create a secure, dedicated garage storage space on top of my truck. While the kanuoc covers are excellent for keeping the bed clean, they do not add any utility beyond sealing holes. The iFJF clamps transform the truck bed into a usable, protected area capable of holding significant weight, making them the more impactful upgrade for a working vehicle. The aluminum construction gives me confidence that my equipment is safe from shifting during transport, and the no-drill install means I can remove them whenever I need access to the bare bed. Ultimately, the ability to mount a cap securely is a higher-value function than plugging a few holes, which is why I recommend the iFJF solution for serious storage needs.
No, the manufacturer explicitly states that these covers will not fit 2018 or older models due to differences in hole sizing, so they are only compatible with 2019–2025 versions.
The product description specifies the use of premium thick silicone material intended to last, featuring reinforced edges to maintain strength and prevent dislodging from road vibration.
The iFJF package includes a complete set of four clamps for mounting a cap, while the kanuoc set contains only two bed rail hole plugs.
