Author Guidelines and Submission

Accepted papers will be published by Springer

Authors should guarantee the anonymity of their submissions by removing names and affiliations from the first page and elsewhere in the paper that would allow reviewers to easily identify authors.

All papers must follow Springer's template (click here). Instructions for Authors (click here). Springer's Template (click here)

Papers will be submitted via EasyChair (click here).

Notes: South African authors: DHET accreditation is currently being sought for both full and short papers.

Full Papers

Full Papers (minimum of 12 pages, and a maximum of 15 pages in the prescribed template) that report on completed research, inclusive of results.

Papers will be evaluated according to their novel research contribution, methodological soundness, theoretical framing and reference to related work, quality of analysis, and quality of writing and presentation.

Only original, unpublished, research papers in English will be considered (except where explicitly stated).

All submitted papers will undergo a pre-screening process by the programme and/or track chairs before sending them out for review. The programme chairs reserve the right to perform early rejection of any paper that does not meet the minimum quality/formatting/scope requirements.

Accepted full papers must be presented at the conference to be published in the proceedings.

Short Papers

Short papers (minimum of 6 pages, and a maximum of 11 pages) are papers that report original, previously unpublished intermediate results of ongoing research projects which align with the conference scope.

Very short papers (of fewer than 6 pages) will not be accepted

Short papers will be double-bind peer-reviewed.
