THE INSTITUTION OF ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERS (IETE)
The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), established in 1953, is India’s premier professional society dedicated to the advancement of electronics, telecommunications, computer science, and information technology. Recognised as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Government of India, IETE also holds the distinction of being an educational institution of national eminence.
With a membership base exceeding 1.25 lakh across 63 centres in India and abroad, IETE plays a key role in shaping the country’s scientific and technological progress. The Institution regularly organizes technical events, publishes journals, and supports continuing education and career development for professionals and students alike, fostering innovation and knowledge dissemination in core technology domains.
