About us

Why we chose this community issue:

We brainstormed a list of community issues and had a discussion which led to us voting on vaping as our community issue to research.

Why we named ourselves the Spongebob_Senators: 

• We decided to name ourselves the Spongebob_Senators because some members of the group were in iEngage last year and are very attached to Spongebob as a mascot.

• A fun fact about our group is we have very strong opinions about silly and serious topics (like how to hold a pencil and what Penland lunch station is best).
