Prof. Dr. Ranabir Banik received the Silver Faculty Award 2021 by Wadhwani Global Foundation for educating, inspiring and guiding of Global Jury certified student ventures.

Prof. Dibakar Roy Choudhury received the 3rd prize among almost 38000 entries in the prestigious AICTE National Level Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards 2020 for the "4 in 1 SMART Mask" made in IEM Innovation Lab and have been felicitated by AICTE in New Delhi.

In accordance with the analysis of World Ranking of top 2% Scientists as prepared by Stanford University, USA ((shorturl.at/qHIJ4)), Prof. Kamakhya Prasad Ghatak of IEM UEM group stays within the top 1% in the field of Applied Physics and he is the first recipient of the Doctor of Engineering Degree of Jadavpur University in 1991 since the University inception in 1955.

Ghatak is 8.7/10, the highest score among the nano-technologists of private Engineering Colleges and Universities in West Bengal.
