RULES!!

1.  ONLY open to public high schools in Penang. Students from Form 1 to 5 are welcomed to participate.

2. EACH School to send ONE team, TOTAL of 5 students in a team. Schools are welcomed to register additional one team which will be subjected to organizer approval. 

3. Registration is Free of Charge. Lunch will be provided to every participants and teacher-in-charge.

4. Rest assured that all of the competition materials and working tools (writing, measuring and cutting tools) are prepared by the organizer. 

5. Schools that are interested to register may submit and complete the registration form. Please do not submit duplicates. 

6. In the event that the registered student may not be able to attend on the event day, please notify the organizer. Please note that shirt size changes cannot be accommodated.

7. Secure your spot by/before  22nd  August 2026! (Extended till 28th August 2026) Note: Registration may close early once we have enough teams. 

8. Successful registration will be notified. Registered team lead teacher will be added to a WhatsApp group where all the latest event updates will be announced. For successful 2nd team of the same school, your registration shall be notified by 29th August 2026.  

9. Teams are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration is accurate. The Organizer reserve the right to reject any incomplete or false submissions. 

NOTE: The Competition will be judged by a panel of evaluators who are specialise in the field, and the judge's decision is FINAL. Any objection to the panel's decision will not be entertained.

1. The Organizer (IEM YES - Young Engineer Section) has the right to make amendments at any time or part of these conditions without referring to the participant. Any changes will be communicated to all registered participants. 

2. Participants must uphold good values, respect others and maintain good discipline throughout the event. 

3. Participants to observe safety and precaution during the event, especially when handling sharp objects. Any injuries or health issues must be reported to the Organizing Committee immediately. 

4. The Organizer are committed to protect participants' personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Participants consent to the collection and appropriate use of personal data including but not limited to names, affliated institutions and contact details for purposes relevant to the successful planning, execution and legacy of the event. 

This may include internal communication, certification and recognition. All data will be handled with care and discretion, and will not be used for purposes unrelated to the competition without prior notice or consent

5. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the event. The Organiser will not be liable for any loss or damage. 

6. All participants shall indemnify the Organiser from any legal claim arising from misconduct or breach of rules.
