Scope

Join us for an inspiring one-day event dedicated to promoting diverse voices in science and engineering as we explore the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and global impact. As part of the Lord Kelvin 200 Years celebrations at the University of Glasgow, this unique gathering will highlight the contributions of leading experts from academia and industry, researchers, and students working towards a more sustainable future, with a special focus on wireless communications and sustainable technologies. The event aims to serve as a platform to encourage open dialogue and empower underrepresented groups in driving progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The event will feature talks and panel discussions, alongside student poster presentations, providing opportunities for early researchers to receive valuable feedback from industry and academic experts.

We especially invite postgraduate students/researchers to attend this event, as it presents a unique opportunity to network with established professionals, gain insights into the latest advancements in sustainability, and showcase your innovative work to a broader audience.

Don’t miss out on the chance to connect, learn, and be inspired on your journey toward making a meaningful impact in your field!

The event is sponsored by IEEE ComSoc TC Innovation Fund – ETI Backhaul/Fronthaul for Communications and Networking, IEEE ComSoc UK & Ireland, IEEE WICE, IEEE WIE UK & Ireland, IEEE AP-S UK & Ireland, and IEEE YP UK & Ireland.
