Event Description:
IPR Challenges in Academia Industry Collaboration. The esteemed speaker of the session was Dr. Y V S Lakshmi. Starting with the fundamentals of IPR policies, the session outlined the procedures and conditions for filing, funding and transferring patents.
Event Details:
The event started by introducing the speaker for the session Dr. Y V S Lakshmi, then the speaker took over the session by explaining what is Intellectual Property Rights and then speaker briefed about the problems faced while applying for the patents, then the session followed by the speaker addressing the doubts of the participants, the concluded with presenting a Momento to the speaker by Dr. P Deepa Shenoy Ma'am, refreshments were provided to the participants after the event.

Event Description:
IEEE UVCE successfully conducted the Eighteenth iteration of the Annual National Level Technical Student Conference at the University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. KAGADA 2022 had 3 tracks - Paper, Project and Poster. Where students showcased their skills.
Event Details:
The total number of participants in KAGADA 2022 was 259.
As a part of KAGADA, 1st year ECE students conducted 'Food for Cause' where the students set up a food stall and served it to the participants and students of UVCE.
Ottige Kaliyona, an initiative where government school children were taught to use technology and develop social skills, was also conducted as part of KAGADA.
Event Objectives:
• The profit gained in 'Food for Cause' was given to a Non-Profitable Organisation.
• IEEE UVCE conducted 'Ottige Kaliyona', where 40 government school kids were taught technical concepts such as MS Excel.
• Paper Presentation track had 7 submissions on various topics. The project track had 28 submissions whereas Poster Track had a total of 64 teams.
• Participants were rewarded with a Participation Certificates. Winners and Runners were awarded with cash prize and certificates.
