The IEEE SB CUK celebrated Engineer’s day on 15th of September, 2022 by hosting a talk event at the seminar hall of central university of karnataka, in association with the school of engineering.

Event Details

The eminent speaker for the event was Mr I S Mahagaonkar, who is a consultant engineer at Central University of Karnataka.

The event started at 11:30 AM and laid focus on giving the attendees an insight into the life of an engineer and their importance. Followed was a quiz competition called QUIZ IT.

Event outcomes

The event was a great success, with an astounding number of participants participating in it.

Event description

The IEEE SB CUK celebrated IEEE Day on 4th of October, 2022 by hosting an awareness talk regarding IEEE. The spokesperson for the event were Aryaman Lal, former SBMDC Chair and Dr Santhosha Kumar, Branch Counselor.

The event started at 11:30 AM and was hosted at the seminar hall of School of Engineering, Central University of Karnataka.

The event laid focus on introducing IEEE and how it helps students in the engineering field enhance their knowledge and career.

Event outcomes

The session was helpful to a lot of freshers and peers who didn't know about IEEE. It made them understand how helpful IEEE is to your professional career and how it influences you.

AWARENESS SESSION IEEEXtreme

Event description

he IEEE SB CUK hosted an online talk event on IEEEXtreme titled as - An awareness session on IEEEXtreme on the 16th of October, from 06:30 PM IST onwards.

The eminent speaker of the event was Adwaith S, public relations lead at IEEEXtreme.

Event Details

The session laid focus on giving the attendees a brief overview of IEEEXtreme and its benefits. The speaker gave guidelines and tips for the program which also enhanced the attendees knowledge of participating in the event.

Event outcomes

Participants raised their concerns and queries. The distinguished speakers also ensured that they patiently answered all the queries elaborately. The event successfully cleared the doubts of attendees regarding the IEEEXtreme.

Student Conclave

Event description

The student conclave was one of the biggest event organized by the student branch. The event was based on the theme getting industry ready. The event was held in physical mode and was held in 5th November, in the auditorium of the university.

Event Details

We held a number of workshops, including ones on goal-setting, resume-building, and stock market trading. To add more, we had also organized a competition - Mock Shark Tank competition.

Event outcomes

The event was successfully organized and we could cater the demands of both participants and speakers. The participants received both, participation certificates and participation kits. This event helped the students, enhance their knowledge in the professional sector.
