IEEE Cambridge SB hosted and conducted a Department Logo design competition where students were invited to design ECE department logo and submit it to the department for valuation. The best among all the logos will be selected and the winner will be awarded with the medals on prize distribution day.

As a part of IEEE day celebrations the Cambridge IEEE Student branch organised a logo design competition where the theme for logo was ece department and the participants were given a chance to prove their designing skills.
Advertisement was done done by SB regarding the competition.
The students were invited to design the ECE Department Logo.
The submission was online and the best logo was selected and awarded.
Event outcomes
IEEE Cambridge gave the students a chance to prove themselves how good they are at designing and branding. The best logo was selected and awarded.

Event description
IEEE CAMBRIDGE SB organised the ideathon competition where Students across the department were welcomed with their innovative ideas and prove their ideas are real and to be brought into practice.
Winners and runners were selected based on the performance and other criteria.
Event Details
The CAMBRIDGE IEEE SB hosted various events on 19th October 2022 as a part of IEEE DAY CELEBRATIONS.
The Principal Dr. Indumathi G and the HOD of ECE Prof. Shiva Panchakshari inaugurated the start of IEEE Events for the ACADEMIC YEAR 22-23.
The new IEEE office bearers were introduced to the college.
The SB invited students from all departments to take part and showcase their talents in technical and also non technical events.
The winners were awarded will be awarded with medals and prizes on IEEE Prize distribution day in the month of November 2022.
The ideathon competition was held on 19th October 2022 in JC Bose Seminar Hall and 203. The judges were invited from ECE and EEE Department and the participants were very enthusiastic and energetic to give their best.
Event outcomes
The winners were awarded with medals and prizes.
The students improved their presentation skills and also learnt how to diogise the problem and how to solve it.
The college was proud that IEEE Cambridge SB hosted and conducted this events as part IEEE day celebration in college.

Event description
A interdepartmental debate competition was organised and conducted by IEEE CAMBRIDGE as a part of IEEE day celebrations and The WINNERS and the RUNNERS were selected based on their performance in all the levels and were rewarded with medals and prizes.

The IEEE CAMBRIDGE SB advertised the IEEE Day Celebrations at college and the events to be held as a part of celebrations.
The event registration form was advertised on each department notice board and was shared on email id of the entire college.
The intrested students contacted the SB and registered for the event.The participants were directed to assemble in the seminar hall where the PRINCIPAL addressed the gathering and inaugurated the IEEE day celebrations followed by the start of the event
Event outcomes
The students were informed and enlightened about the IEEE and its benefits and why the IEEE SB conducts events under IEEE and also the importance of participating in such activities. The winners and the runners were felicitated with awards and medals.

The Cambridge Institute of Technology hosted a 2 day workshop on DEEP LEARNING in association with IEEE CAMBRIDGE. The workshop was conducted to create awareness about the ongoing technology and why deep learning is important in the present era of the Technology.

The Department of Electronics and Communication, Cambridge Institute of Technology
organized and conducted a workshop on DEEP LEARNING in offline mode for the students
of 7th semester ECE on 20th and 21th of NOVEMBER 2022. The motive of conducting this
workshop was encourage the students to study Deep learning as it drives many artificial
intelligence (AI) applications and services that improve automation, performing analytical and
physical tasks without human intervention. Deep learning technology lies behind everyday
products and services (such as digital assistants, voice-enabled TV remotes, and credit card
fraud detection) as well as emerging technologies (such as self-driving cars).
The IEEE Cambridge SB hosted the Deep learning workshop and the registrations were invited from ECE DEPARTMENT.
The organiser gave a brief information of how deep learning can change the way how data can be collected and solve the problems using various methods.
Interested students registered for the workshop and was held on 20th October 2022 at CAMBRIAN LABS 5th floor CITECH.
Event outcomes
The students were taught about few TensorFlow commands like tf.constant, tf.add, tf.subtract and many more and made to work on real world examples.
Students were directed and assisted to create a website and work on various datasets provided by the Intel.
The participants were given the certificates of Participation after submitting the assignments on the specified dates.
