Event description

The event SAHASRA was conducted by AMCEC Student Branch had participants of around 250.

It was an offline event which was conducted in order to enhance the talent of students in both technical and non technical field which included five sub events in total.

Event Details

A lot of events were held under this which included both technical and non technical

namely

Idea Tank - which helped the students to showcase their ideas

Code Of Duty - to increase the coding skills of participants

Quote A Job - which provided a platform for group discussions and mock interview

Anime Mania - a quiz contest was held based upon animes

Ipl mock auction - team had a fixed amount to bid on players

The winner's and runner's of all the events were awarded with cash prizes.

Event outcomes

This version of our symposium hosts professionally managed events consisting of oral and poster sessions showcasing original contributions from students and young professionals. Through this event, our student branch plans on achieving the goal to reach out to all the students who can use their creative and innovative minds in using the technology for the betterment of humanity.

Introduction To Freelancing Workshop

This workshop provided a platform for students to know and learn about freelancer and how anyone can start as a freelancer.

And gave a basic tips and tricks to start as a freelancer.

The workshop started with a short introduction on how anyone can kick start as a freelancer and a walkthrough of their applications in the present generation.

Lastly which helped students to build their own portfolio and gave tips on freelancing followed by common terms and taxes included in freelancing.

Visual Design And Lens Workshop

This workshop gave an platform for students to learn designing digital graphics using figma amd canva followed by creation of snap chat lens from scratch.

Event Details

This workshop gave an introduction of designing Digital Graphics using Figma and Canva and a walkthrough of there applications in poster designing.

Followed by a sapped introduction to lens studio followed with the utilization and application of lens studio to design snapchat lens from scratch.

Event outcomes

This workshop helped students to showcase a few lens made by AMCEC students followed by encouraged volunteers participants who demonstrated their lens during the workshop.
