IEEE BHTC 2026 invites submissions to the Demo & Exhibit track from industry, academia, and startups showcasing technologies and applications of AI for Sustainability.
Scope: In alignment with the theme of the conference, the areas of interest include the use of AI to advance progress in Clean Air; Clean Water; Clean Energy; Sustainable Mobility; Sustainable Infrastructure; Biodiversity Conservation.
Demo Track: intended for interactive prototypes, systems, or software that allow attendees to directly experience the technology in action. Static presentations (e.g., only slides or videos) will not be accepted.
Exhibit Track: focuses on commercial products, solutions, or platforms - particularly those demonstrating humanitarian or socially beneficial applications. Exhibits may include booths, posters with hands-on components, or live system demonstrations.
Submission Categories:
Category-I / Demo (New Submission & NOT linked to an IEEE BHTC 2026 Accepted Paper): Abstract submissions must be exactly four (4) pages - single-spaced and formatted in double-column IEEE conference style using a 10-point font on 8.5×11 inch pages. The submission must include all figures, tables, and references within the page limit. All submissions must be in PDF format and follow the IEEE template used for regular conference papers. The review process will evaluate submissions based on suitability for demo presentation format; clarity of presentation; novelty; potential to stimulate discussion; and relevance to the IEEE BHTC 2026 theme. All accepted and presented demo abstracts in this category will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.
Category-II / Demo (Linked to an IEEE BHTC 2026 Accepted Paper): Abstract submissions must not be more than ONE (1) page. It must include: (a) Demo Title; (b) Name of Authors / Presenters & Affiliations; (c) CMT ID of the IEEE BHTC 2026 accepted paper; (d) Description of the demo functionality and goals (with emphasis on novelty, impact, and relevance to BHTC); (e) Interactivity Plan (outlining how participants will use or interact with the system).
Category-III / Exhibit: Abstract submissions must not be more than ONE (1) page. It must include: (a) Demo Title; (b) Name of Authors / Presenters & Affiliations; (c) Description of the demo functionality and goals (with emphasis on novelty, impact, and relevance to BHTC); (d) Interactivity Plan (outlining how participants will use or interact with the system).
Presentation and Participation: Selected demos and exhibits will be presented in a dedicated Demo Session during the conference; providing presenters with an opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, receive constructive feedback from reviewers and attendees, and explore potential collaborations.
Logistics and Requirements:
All demos and exhibits will be presented in person at IEEE BHTC 2026.
At least one presenter must register and attend the conference in person.
Presenters/exhibitors are responsible for transportation, setup, and maintenance of their materials.
The conference will provide basic infrastructure, including tables and power outlets.
