Scope
Within the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) this TC aims:
To develop strategies for supporting intelligent industrial systems and cyber-physical systems developments in the context of industrial applications
To develop strategies for generating cross-cutting activities with other TCs of the SMC
To provide forums and opportunities for members to exchange ideas, knowledge, experience, learning, and results in the are of intelligent industrial systems
To stimulate cross-fertilisation of technical and scientific ideas for the advancement in the field of intelligent industrial systems
Jointly organise intelligent industrial systems activities in IEEE SMC related events
Within IEEE:
To interact with other IEEE societies/initiatives and jointly organise/support events (e.g., IEEE Smart Grid Community, IEEE Smart City Community)
Jointly organise and support intelligent industrial systems activities in IEEE-related events
To support IEEE standardisation activities
Outside of IEEE:
To interact with relevant groups active in the domain of intelligent industrial systems
Jointly organise and support specific events relevant to the topic of intelligent industrial systems
