It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that IEEE Power Electronics Society – Student Branch Chapter, Harcourt Butler Technical University (IEEE PELS - SBC, HBTU), Kanpur, is celebrating Power Electronics Day on June 19th & 20th, 2024. On this auspicious occasion, we are organizing expert talk, a quiz based on the expert talk, a logo design competition and Alumni Talk and, more importantly, a technical gathering of experts and students.

Dr. Akansha Garg
Akansha Garg received the B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the M.Tech. degree with specialization in Power Electronics and Systems, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. She received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, India. Post her PhD, she worked as a Knowledge Associate at Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, C-DAC, Bangalore, India in 2022. She is currently working on a UKRI funded research project at University of Manchester as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate.
