Call for Papers
The Workshop on Edge Software Architecture represents an innovative initiative to establish a vibrant community, fostering academic research and industrial solutions centered on edge software architecture. The community is dedicated to contributing to innovation and advancement in edge software architecture in terms of methods, techniques, processes, and tools. The workshop extends invitations to the broader software engineering and architecture community to foster collaboration beyond the realm of software architecture to facilitate the integration of research contributions from diverse software engineering domains.
Key characteristics of edge software architecture that we will consider as a theme in our workshop are:
Proximity to Data Sources
Distributed Processing
Real-time Responsiveness
Data Filtering and Preprocessing
Hybrid Cloud-Edge Integration
Security and Privacy
Low Latency
Scalability
The main application scenario can include but is not limited to:
Internet of Things (IoT)
5G/6G
Hardware as a Service
Smart City
Healthcare
Manufacturing
