Committed to providing all students with opportunities and resources necessary for their success. Acknowledging the distinct challenges faced by our students and their families, we diligently work to close the gap by offering crucial resources and creating experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Established in 2020, our mission focuses on creating pathways for student achievement through enrichment, community involvement, and family participation. We take pride in our collaboration with East Carolina University and Pitt County Schools, incorporating our teachers' insights to support our remarkable IECHS students.
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
As I wrap up my time serving as PTSO President, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported me along the way. Together, we’ve accomplished incredible things! Being recognized for initiatives that benefited the Food Bank of Eastern North Carolina for several years in a row, establishing our charity status, and creating opportunities that allowed our students to truly take off running.
These milestones along with so many more make me emotional and overwhelmingly proud to have been part of this journey. None of it would have been possible without the dedication of our families, teachers, and the friendships formed along the way. Thank you for believing in our mission and for standing beside me to make a lasting impact on our school community.
