5. Wait, is that a holiday you made up? Well spotted. But hey, other people get to make up holidays, including greeting card companies, so why not us? A bit more history: Several years of enjoyment of the International Day of Pancakes with both culinary and linguistic delight ("What counts as a pancake anyway?") led to similar definitional discussions of dumplings plus a longing for a day dedicated to eating them. The solution was obvious!
6. Shouldn’t it be called the Day of International Dumplings? That doesn’t sound as good. Also, this one was developed with the assistance of friends from around the world, so it's international from the start!
