IDMCi|uni is happening from 11 March to 1 June 2024!
Let's face it.
Uni is not JC or poly.
If you thought your chem textbook was too thick for two years,
you’re gonna get a new one every four months.
If you thought Shakespeare was cool,
wait till you read Jacques Derrida.
If you have been satisfying sexual impulses through porn,
welcome to a world where sex is part of the ballgame.
If you were getting stressed out over what uni course to choose,
know that the decisions you make in the next 3-4 years will literally change your life.

Before IDMCi|uni, I was serving actively in and out of church and I thought that I knew what my faith was all about. IDMCi|uni opened my eyes to see the amazing breadth and depth of the Bible, showed me examples of lives surrendered fully, and surrounded me with a Christ-like community. As I reflect on my experience months later, in uni, the way I live out my faith each day has changed: from the way I read my Bible, to how I interact with people around me. Join us, and come taste and see that the Lord is good!

Before entering the workforce, I made a huge decision to set aside 3 months of my time to attend IDMCi|uni. And I'm glad I signed up. Attending IDMCi|uni was the best 3 months of my life. During this time, I learnt so much new biblical knowledge, despite being a Christian for most of my life. It also helped to deepen my faith and brought me closer to God, as I realised I was far away from Him. Most importantly, I made very good friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, which would last forever. If you want to experience the best times of your life, join us and you would never regret it! Most importantly, where God leads, He would provide. See you there!

Coming out of two years in the wilderness of Canada, personal experiences mainly informed my knowledge of God. IDMCi|uni reinforced my faith intellectually — tracing the entire Biblical narrative, understanding the heart behind spiritual disciplines and so much more. IDMCi|uni also showed me that there’s nothing under the sun that God isn’t sovereign over. The question isn't whether your job or degree is relevant, but how can you steward your talents and the knowledge you acquire to unfold creation’s potential and bring us one step closer to the Biblical kingdom! Over a year later, it's a privilege to witness my IDMCi|uni batchmates passionately pursuing God and leading in campus ministries, in church and beyond.

Growing up as a second-gen Christian, I thought I knew the Christian life well. Yet, there were still doubts in my heart whether all of this Jesus hubbub was really true. IDMCi|uni challenged me to ask the difficult questions about faith and the world: fundamentally, why I call myself a Christian in a world that seems to offer more. But most of all, this course showed me that spiritual community is beautiful. Not because it is perfect, but because the coming together of brothers and sisters in Christ—who are vulnerable in their doubts, and sincere in their desire to love God and one another—reflects the communal love of a relational God.

"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything." IDMCi|uni brought about a pivotal change in the way I viewed various aspects of Christianity—from diving into the word like never before, to reconciling the faith with various issues relevant to a pre-uni young adult. Having a more grounded faith brought about through the programme is crucial in your upcoming season of life, as you grapple with a multitude of intellectual and emotional challenges.

As a new Christian, I felt that there were a lack of opportunities for me to understand the fundamentals of our faith. IDMCi|uni was like a crash course for me — learning how we can seek God through different spiritual disciplines, unpacking our beliefs, and learning how to live out the faith. Reading the bible was very daunting, but not any more now!
There is truly so much one can do during the holiday. But looking back now, I would say joining IDMCi|uni was the best investment of my time. God’s presence was very real and I would say it really rekindled my fire for God :”) Now that I am in university, I realise that university is really where your faith is put to the test, where you will be pressurised to prioritise anything but God. IDMCi|uni really helped to ground my faith on the one solid rock that never fails.

NS was a disorienting season of personal setbacks for me, and God seemed so far away. But where I was far off, God brought me near in his mercy. IDMCi|uni set me on a journey to consider what it means to follow Jesus in all of life. Where I was double-minded before, I experienced the preciousness of community and the grace of wholeness and integrity, which I so longed for. Come and know God's story of redemption in the Old and New Testaments, and find it flowing off the pages into your work, school and life! Few things are more worth your time.
