If you want high-fidelity sound isolation for long listening sessions, choose iDiskk Hi-Res Audio Hybrid; if you need open-ear comfort and situational awareness for active use, choose Linklike Most Comfortable Open.
• iDiskk Hi-Res Audio Hybrid: Delivers deep bass and 45 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation, but its over-ear design lacks the breathability needed for intense physical activity or swimming.
• Linklike Most Comfortable Open: Features a zero-pressure Z-Structure fit with 70 hours of playtime and Bluetooth 6.0 stability, though it offers no passive isolation and is only IP55 water-resistant, making it unsuitable for submersion.
• Best for the audiophile commuter: The iDiskk is the superior choice for travelers and office workers seeking to block out the world.
• Best for the active listener: The Linklike is the ideal companion for runners and gym-goers who need to hear their surroundings.
The iDiskk Hi-Res Audio Hybrid is engineered for those who prioritize audio fidelity and environmental silence above all else. This over-ear headphone utilizes dynamic drivers with a frequency range spanning from 20Hz to 20,000Hz, ensuring that you can hear the full spectrum of your music, from the deepest bass notes to the highest highs. The enclosure is constructed from durable plastic in a sleek black finish, designed to sit securely around the ear while providing a sealed acoustic environment. If you are looking for the best headphone for swimming, this is not the device; however, for stationary or low-movement environments like commuting or travel, it excels.
The standout feature here is the Active Noise Cancellation. Unlike simple passive isolation, this system actively works to cancel out external frequencies, creating a quiet bubble for your listening pleasure. Combined with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, it ensures a stable wireless connection that minimizes dropouts during your daily routine. The battery performance is equally impressive, offering an average life of 45 hours on a single charge. This means you can go weeks without needing to plug in the charging cable, which takes about three hours to replenish fully. Whether you are on a long-haul flight or working through a busy week, the power lasts.

However, the trade-off lies in the form factor. As an over-ear model, these headphones cover the entire ear canal. While this contributes to the excellent noise cancellation and bass response, it creates a warmer, more enclosed experience that can lead to heat buildup during prolonged wear. They are heavy-duty devices meant for stability, not agility. You should skip this product if you plan to engage in high-intensity sports where sweat management is critical or if you require total freedom of movement. The included carrying case makes them portable, but they are not designed to be submerged in water. If you need IPX7 waterproof bluetooth headphones for swimming, this unit does not meet that specification.
The Linklike Most Comfortable Open Ear Clip-on Earbuds are built for a completely different philosophy: one that values awareness and comfort over isolation. These earbuds utilize a patented Z-Structure design that rests on the outer rim of the ear rather than inside it. By distributing weight across a larger surface area using a silicone teardrop design, they eliminate the pressure points common with traditional clip-ons. Weighing just 4.7 grams per earbud, they feel almost weightless, allowing you to wear them for eight-hour study sessions or long runs without fatigue. The materials used include carbon fiber, metal, and silicone, creating a modern aesthetic that doubles as functional engineering.
Audio quality is handled by a 10.8mm BPU Carbon Fiber driver paired with Dual-Magnet technology, tuned specifically for Hi-Res LDAC support. This setup delivers detailed audio with a warm, mellow focus that avoids harsh high-frequency peaks. A key differentiator is the lack of active noise cancellation; instead, the design relies on directional sound and anti-phase technology to create a private audio zone while letting ambient sounds pass through. This makes them perfect for urban environments where safety is paramount. You need to know when a car is approaching or when someone is calling your name. Furthermore, the Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity offers ultra-low latency, ensuring lip-sync precision for video and gaming.
The durability specs are robust for an open-ear design, featuring IP55 protection against heavy rain and intense sweat. This rating allows for rigorous workouts and exposure to the elements, but it stops short of submersion. You cannot wear these underwater. The battery life is a massive selling point, with up to 9 hours of continuous playback on a single charge and a total of 62 to 70 hours when including the charging case. Charging is fast, reaching a full state in just one hour. However, if you are searching for ipx7 waterproof bluetooth headphones for swimming, you will find this product insufficient for that specific aquatic task. It is, however, an exceptional choice for anyone who wants the best neckband headphones for swimming alternatives, provided you stay above the water line.

In my opinion, I would choose the Linklike Most Comfortable Open for my daily lifestyle because the balance between comfort and utility is unmatched. The ability to wear these for extended periods without ear fatigue, combined with the safety of hearing my surroundings, makes them the superior choice for an active North American lifestyle. While the iDiskk offers a fantastic listening experience for quiet moments, the Linklike's adaptability to movement and its advanced Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity make it the more versatile tool. Ultimately, if you are looking for the best headphone for swimming, neither is a true match for submersion, but for any other activity, the Linklike stands out. I recommend the iDiskk only if your primary goal is absolute silence and you rarely move.
Neither product is rated for submersion. The iDiskk has no water resistance rating, and the Linklike is only IP55, meaning it handles sweat and rain but not being underwater. You should look for dedicated IPX7 waterproof models for actual swimming.
The Linklike Most Comfortable Open offers up to 9 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, totaling up to 70 hours with the case. The iDiskk provides 45 hours of total playtime, so the Linklike has a distinct advantage for long trips.
Yes, the iDiskk features Active Noise Cancellation to block out external sound. The Linklike does not have active noise cancellation; instead, it uses open-ear technology to let ambient noise in for safety and awareness.
The iDiskk is an over-ear design that seals around the ear, which can cause heat buildup during very long sessions. The Linklike distributes weight evenly with a zero-pressure fit, making it generally more comfortable for extended wear during activities.
