Now, we will talk about some of our common emotions we feel and when we might feel these emotions...

Here are some tips for when our emotions feel overwhelming:

  • step away from a situation that might be frustrating you (alert the teacher before leaving)

    • go get a drink of water

    • take a walk

  • talk to a trusted friend or family member

  • do something calming

    • draw or paint

    • play with your favorite toy

  • get your body moving (yoga or dancing are a few ideas!)
