Ever since I found about about Google Sites, I have ever always wanted to give it a try.
For many years, I thought that the sites built using Google Sites look dated, and that the platform was difficult to use. That changed with the new version of Google Sites -- which is not that new now -- it was released in 2016.
The "new" Google Sites are quite intuitive to use. And the web page it makes is responsive and attractive.
However, it isn't all roses. For example, despite their clean looks, the themes don't look too professional. Which means that you may not want to use Google Sites to build the homepage for your business.
If you're trying to use it as a blog -- like what I'm trying to do here -- sooner or later you have a long, flat list of blog posts. I imagine that it will be unmanageable.
So who can benefit from this (free) service? School clubs. Small businesses (think mom & pop). Nonprofit organizations. Just to name a few that I can think off.
Anyway, this is where I'll be posting my blog posts.
