Ecology Escape Room

You just finished a meeting with a partner group on an important conservation project. While others left, you remained longer to finish writing your notes. Now that you are ready to leave, you find that the building is locked, and you need to know the door code to have a way out. Earlier in the day, you overheard the chief conservationist telling a colleague that the door code can be figured out by following clues that only those familiar with ecological terms can decipher. Fortunately, you have studied in that area.

Using the interactive room below, figure out the four clues to determine the three-digit door code so you can "escape" and move forward with your part of the conservation project. Each clue activity is available from a link in the image below that will open in a separate tab/page. The clues do not need to be solved in order (i.e., Clue #1, Clue #2, etc.). Once you have completed a challenge and found the answer to a clue, you may close that page and return to this page. Keep notes to help you "Unlock" the door. Be sure to read all of the information/instructions for each clue!
