Prof./Dr. Hwan-Seung Yong (용 환승，龍　煥昇) received the B.S., the M.S. and Ph.D degree in Computer Engineering from Department of Computer Engineering , Seoul National University , 1983, 1985 and 1994 respectively in KOREA. He is currently a Professor of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Ewha Womans University since 1995. His home town is Chunchon , well known as the City of Lake in KOREA.  

He was previously a research staff at ETRI . At ETRI he joined expert system development project for ESS maintenance using LISP machine. His major current research interests include Internet/Web based Multimedia Database system areas.　

From August 2002 to Feb. 2003, he was a visiting research staff at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center where he worked on adaptable MPEG4 contents delivery system using EJB and Web Service technology.
