Estimates and Bookings

Any quote or estimate we provide is based on the information you share with us, such as:

• Inventory size and special items

• Stairs, elevators, and distance to parking

Estimates may change if the actual job differs from the description provided (for example, more items, extra flights of stairs, or additional services requested on the day of the move).

Your move date and time are not confirmed until we acknowledge your booking (by phone, email, or written confirmation) and, where applicable, receive any required deposit.

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your move and property

• Be present or have an authorized representative present at both locations

• Ensure clear access to entrances, driveways, and loading areas

• Properly pack and secure items if you are handling your own packing

• Inform us in advance about fragile, oversized, or high-value items

You are responsible for complying with any building or community rules related to moving (reservation of elevators, parking permissions, etc.).

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be explained at the time of booking and may include:

• Hourly rates for local moves

• Flat or weight-based pricing for certain long distance moves

• Additional charges for packing materials, specialty items, or unexpected conditions

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the move. We reserve the right to charge late fees or withhold delivery of items if payments are not made as agreed.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please contact us as soon as possible. Certain moves may require a minimum notice period. Short-notice cancellations or rescheduling may be subject to fees, especially if crews and trucks have already been allocated or dispatched.

Liability and Limitations

We take reasonable care in handling and transporting your belongings. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for normal wear and tear, minor scratches, or pre-existing damage.

• We are not responsible for items packed by you, especially if boxes were not properly sealed or protected.

• We are not liable for loss or damage to cash, jewelry, important documents, or other high-value items unless you have specifically disclosed them and special arrangements have been made.

Our total liability in connection with any move will not exceed the amount paid for the services in question, unless otherwise required by applicable law or a written agreement.

Prohibited and Hazardous Items

You agree not to include hazardous or illegal items in your shipment, including but not limited to:

• Explosives, flammables, or compressed gases

• Chemicals, solvents, or toxic substances

• Illegal drugs or items prohibited by law

We reserve the right to refuse to transport such items and to terminate services if prohibited items are discovered.
