Lucian is currently a senior at Boise State University, majoring in Biology with an emphasis in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior. He's been a birder since 2018, and is on the board of Golden Eagle Audubon Society. He also works with the Intermountain Bird Observatory as a songbird bander. He plans to spend his career working on bird conservation, and is passionate about getting young people interested in birds and conservation.
Calvin is currently a sophomore at Boise State University. He spent the summer of 2019 working with local college students surveying rattlesnakes in the Morley Nelson Snake River Valley Area. In the past few years, he's gotten more into birding and has been learning about conservation in Idaho.
Sam has been working in education for almost 10 years and has been birding (intermittently) since 2015. She started birding while volunteering at Sitka National Historical Park in Alaska to help lead bird walks, and has since birded in Arizona, Nevada, and Idaho. She worked with Intermountain Bird Observatory on woodpecker and cuckoo surveys and is always learning new bird facts to share!
Anna is a junior at Boise State University, majoring in Biology with an emphasis in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior. Her interest in birds began in 2019, and she has since volunteered with the World Center for Birds of Prey and Intermountain Bird Observatory. She also enjoys drawing a variety of wildlife and domestic animals and hopes to combine a career in wildlife biology with scientific illustration.
Martin is currently a junior at Boise State University studying Biology with an emphasis in Ecology, Evolution and Behavior and he is originally from Durango, Colorado! He first found his love of birds at the age of 10, when he watched the movie, “The Big Year.”
