About Our Group

Hello and welcome. Our peer-led Insight Dialogue group has been practicing online since June 2020. We meet one Saturday and one Sunday a month for two hours at 15:00 UTC (to check what time that is for you click here).

Practice begins and ends with a short sit or guided meditation and includes an hour in dyads followed by whole-group practice. Rotating facilitation is central to the group: sangha members prepare contemplations and lead group practice. Consultation and support are available to sangha members as they prepare to facilitate.

This isn't a drop-in group; participants are expected to attend the majority of meetings. We leave the Zoom room open after practice to allow sangha members to connect informally -- and practice their ID skills in a real-life setting.

Participants are balanced between those living in the United States and in Europe. The language used is English, though with the understanding that is the mother tongue of only a minority of the group. To see a few typical contemplations please click here.

Participants should be familiar with Insight Dialogue guidelines and practice and have experience with Buddhist meditation. For those new to Insight Dialogue we offer orientation/refresher sessions prior to your first practice with the group.

New members are welcome and received with warmth. Please contact us if you are interested in joining or to find out more.

May all beings everywhere, near and far, known and unknown, be happy.

May they be well. May they be peaceful. May they be free.
