Sustainability goes beyond carbon emissions and our strategy has been carefully planned to initially focus on the things that will make the biggest difference. We are doing this through all our homes, developments and the way we run our business.

All our homes achieve an energy performance rating of B or above - a standard that far surpasses the average UK home. Providing lower energy bills and a reduced carbon footprint.

In all our project we use sustainable technologies, such as solar panels or air source heat pumps, to maximise energy efficiency. 

As part of our strategy for reducing our environmental impact, we have made a commitment to make the most of opportunities to support urban wildlife throughout every new development.

We incorporate wildlife-supporting measures into every new home we build, whether bird nests or wet environments, wildlife measures on our homes are not overlooked, regardless of our planning obligations.

The health and safety of our teams, the public and our customers is of the highest importance for I&D Estates. We have robust processes and procedures in place and regularly train our teams to minimise the risk of incidents and injuries.

We work closely with both direct employees and our sub-contractor partners to promote a cooperative, partnership approach, vital in ensuring we continue to improve our health and safety record.
