Local scour around a single bridge pier model is analysed using Computational Fluid Dynamics
An Eulerian two phase model was used to solve the momentum equations for water and sand phase which account fluid/particle and particle/particle interactions

Several morphometric parameters including linear and aerial aspects was computed and analysed
The features like flow direction, flow accumulation, stream network and stream order were identified
The morphometric study of Kechery watershed shows their relative characteristics with respect to hydrologic response of the watershed.

Flooding has several impacts on human-lives, animals, trees, plantations, eco-system of area
Preventive measures like improvement of drainage efficiency, construction of flood–protection structures, increasing areas around city to serve as retention basins, water recharging of channels-preventive measures recommended to curb urban flooding
