This conference (ICSOAA2023) was the fifth edition after the first in Settat (28 Nov—02 Dec 2005), the second in Marrakech (14—18 April 2008), the third in Marrakech (1—5 November 2011), and the fourth in Marrakech (27—30 January 2015). The conference covered various aspects of the theory of operator algebras.
