Student travel award

Key dates: Septmber 15th, 2022

ICSDS is pleased to provide 10 travel awards, $800 USD each, to PhD students who participate in invited or contributed program. Applicants for the awards must be members of IMS, for which joining at the time of application is allowed. Note that IMS membership is FREE for all students. The applications for travel awards are due by September 15, 2022.

Eligibility

• The student must be enrolled in a degree-granting institution on December 1, 2022.

• The student must be the first author of the submitted paper.

• The student must be a member of the IMS.

• The student must be willing to attend and present the paper in person at the 2022 ICSDS.

Applications

Please use the form (https://forms.gle/YrWbRvVh9nKcwzxi6) to submit your application by Septmber 15th, 2022. This form will ask you to upload a letter from your PhD supervisor that certifies your PhD student status. It will also ask you to upload the abstract as a PDF file, with which you are strongly encouraged to submit your paper as a PDF file to strength your application. The paper is limited to be 30 pages double spaced.
