This course will be delivered as an online product via ZOOM and a Google Website, with 16 hours of instructor led training. Course material consists of the full NIMS (National Incident Management System) compliant curriculum, packaged with personalized additional material provided by your instructors.
This course is designed for those emergency response personnel who would function as part of an Area Command, Emergency Operations Center, or Multi-agency Coordination System during a large, complex incident or event or those personnel who are or would likely be part of a local or regional Incident Management Team during a major incident, whether single agency, multi-agency or Unified Command.
The Zoom conferencing app will be used for online interaction, live screencast and group activities. You will receive an invitation to the meeting before the class begins. It is important that you test Zoom on your system before the start of class, so we can minimize trouble-shooting time. If you have any issues with Zoom, please contact your Instructor or the Training Coordinator.
Must successfully complete prerequisite courses prior to being accepted for this course. Have a working knowledge of the ICS. Have an agency or individual need to meet National Incident Management System required training.
